THE REUNION IS ON! JUNE 1-2, 2007

Greetings from the 56-57 Committee,

Tuesday, February 21, the Classes of 56 & 57 formed a reunion committee. We met at the Chaparral Country Club for lunch. There was lots to discuss to make sure the reunion will be a great success like all the previous joint reunions have been.

Friday and Saturday, June 1-2, 2007 was decided on as the best dates for the reunion activities. We talked in generalities about what we want to do, where we want to do it, what fun things we hope to include, and what it will all cost. With great anticipation for fun and big smiles on our faces we adjourned, many of us with homework to complete before our next meeting.


Mark your calendars for the party of parties. Our reunion again is going to be the envy of all the other classes! If you have not been to any of our reunions, be sure you make this one the priority event of 2007.

BOOK OF MEMORIES

Feeling creative? We have a wonderful opportunity for you! We need an editor for our Book of Memories for our upcoming reunion.

Patsy Tinker Phyfe writes:

I have a lot of information in the Book of Memories (August 2001) and I won't be able to keep it up. Do I have any volunteers to continue the book? If so, I will send the book and a CD (in Word) to anyone who would like to update it and distribute it at the reunion. Let me know.

Wow, can you believe it's been almost 50 years since we walked the halls of CHS? No matter which building we graduated from, we represent the best! Go Cats!

Another thing that's hard to believe is that our Committee representing the Classes of 1956 and 1957 was formed up in 1995 and since then we've organized two really great reunion parties. Now that we have all this experience, we're going to have a really big one - the Five O.

Last year committee members starting talking informally when we met at restaurants and such - you know - hi George we need to get together and start planning our 50th, dontcha think? Yes, we all thought that was a great idea... later. Well, later is here and we are going to have a Lunch meeting, February 21 to select a date for the next reunion.
